Nunda Township taxpayers should be very confident in the assessment team assembled to serve their needs — we believe it is one of the best in the county. Each of these positions is a vital component in the timely completion of the annual assessment cycle, and we will keep striving to provide taxpayers the best possible service.
Mark Dzemske
Assessor
Advanced Designation, Illinois Property Assessment Institute · Member, International Association of Assessing Officers
Mark is your Nunda Township Assessor. Mark was elected your Nunda Township Assessor effective January 1st, 2018 and has been employed by the Nunda Township Assessor’s office since 1988. He carries an advanced designation with the Illinois Property Assessment Institute and is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers.
Eric
Deputy Assessor
Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) · Member, International Association of Assessing Officers
Eric is experienced in Real Property Assessment and Mass Appraisal Valuation. Eric also has a background in Real Estate Sales, primarily in Builder to Market transactions. As a Nunda Township Deputy Assessor, Eric carries a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer designation which was obtained from the Illinois Property Assessment Institute; in addition he is a member in good standing with the International Association of Assessing Officers.
Mary
Data Collection
With the office since 2002
Mary performs residential data collection for our office. She has been with the Nunda Township Assessor’s office since 2002 and is very familiar with the many neighborhoods in the township, with a strong understanding of home construction. Our data collection team spends most of their time in the field following up on building permits, measuring and listing property characteristics, speaking with property owners, and updating property record cards.
John

John performs residential data collection for our office. He joined the office in 2023 and brings a strong understanding of home construction. Together with Mary he follows up on building permits, measures and lists property characteristics, speaks with property owners, and keeps property record cards up to date.
Lisa
Office Support
Lisa is part of the office support staff — typically your first contact when phoning or visiting the office. The support staff processes Real Estate Transfer Declarations and building permits, generates reports for the assessment team, verifies details on property transfers, and helps residents apply for exemptions.
Carey
Office Support
Carey is part of the office support staff — typically your first contact when phoning or visiting the office. The support staff processes Real Estate Transfer Declarations and building permits, generates reports for the assessment team, verifies details on property transfers, and helps residents apply for exemptions.

Renee is part of the office support staff — typically your first contact when phoning or visiting the office.
